After finishing my M7 Priest I've decided to have a go at the M3 Lee/Grant to go on the Heng Long M4 Sherman lower hull.
I started with a Tamiya 1/35 Lee and a copy of George Bradford's WWII AFV Plans (British AFv's) which has plans for the Grant.
So to start I made thin card mockup of the 1/35 model to check sizes and angles.

So I decided to do a simple chop and swop three piece transmission for the M3 and M4 based tanks (M10, M7 etc)

3D printed gaming objects
These have all been printed pretty fast at 0.2mm layer hight, then primed and given a quick wash (so you can see them better). As they're straight off the print bed they're still a bit rough. The guardsman is there just for scale and isn't something I printed.
US 1/16 scale WWII era tank filler caps.
These are test prints I made for my Hybrid Firefly but they can be used on any Heng Long, Mato and Tamiya M4 Sherman (variant).

WSN 1/16 T-34 Build
I've posted a few videos of my T-34 so here's the build-
So to start-
I filled in each of the suspension arms to make them stiffer then bolted the to the chassis which has been strengthened with plasticard (I'm using plasticard because I'm trying to keep the weight down).
