Pz Kpfw IV k (Build)

I found an old Heng Long Pz IV hull I had chopped up for a project 

So I've decided to do a what if "paper panzer". I always like the old World of Tanks PZ IV schmalturm but wanted to give it sloped armour (Krupp had come up with a design for the PZ IV H which had sloped armour) so I'm going to combine the two ideas.

First off I angled the engine deck-

Designed and printed a turret-

Dry test fitting it all. It was at this point that I noticed that the HL tureet was 5mm off centre but the drawings of the have it centred so more chopping needed.

Dry fitting the armour. The hull MG has been dropped as the space was needed to store the larger ammo.

Centred the turret ring-

The turret looks better now it's centred-

Added steel rimmed wheel to the front-

Main gun installed-

New exhaust added -

Decieded to add a slopped bit to the lower plate like the Jgd Pz 4-

 It's been a while but after lockdowns and a move I've had no time for tanking. Having unpacked and sorted out all my tanks (and the weather was nice) I decided it'll be a good time for a photo op.
